ACCREDITATIONS OF THE CCC

The Chimpanzee Conservation Center is accredited by the Pan African Sanctuary Alliance (PASA) as a founding member. Accreditation by PASA requires that a strict code of conduct is respected and followed. Accreditation confirms that the CCC meets the requirements of respect for animals, transparency of its accounts, professionalism of staff members and a commitment to conservation.
To date, there are 23 PASA certified sanctuaries that have worked to preserve endangered primate species: chimpanzees, gorillas, bonobos, drills, forest monkeys, baboons and vervet monkeys.
